The Queen Team
Oklahoma City, OK
You can say she's from many places, but New Orleans is where she calls home! Ebony spent most of her childhood there, until the tragedies of Hurricane Katrina. After going through such a tragic experience, and having to relocate to Cleveland, Ohio, Ebony gained expertise in providing light and laughter to others going through critical changes in their lives. So naturally, helping others feel and look good during their transition is definitely something she does best! Ms. Jagers is a self-taught loctician. She started a business that specializes in locs and loc maintenance. Since she understands we care for hair of all-natural textures, Ebony has made it a priority to educate the melanin community on the beauty and versatility of natural hair. While doing that, she's been able to develop her own techniques and products due to her personal hardships with natural hair. Ebony believes her experiences have qualified her to help educate others on hair maintenance. When she's not providing magical services as the "Loc Goddess", she spends her spare time traveling, doing art of all kinds, singing, cooking, reading, spending time with friends and family. Ebony has developed a knack for self-growth and love as well. Ms. Jagers loves to make others laugh every chance she gets and even enjoys celebrating the growth and accomplishments of others! In her mind, a win for one, is a win for all!

Sade C. Sparks
Named after the legendary singer, Sade Adu, Ms. Sparks is a native Clevelander and proud alumna of The Ohio State University (B.S) and Ashford University (M.B.A) respectively whose passion has always been deeply rooted in helping others. Growing up a welfare kid, Sade understands what it is like to start from scratch and face unsurmountable challenges along the way. She has been able to conquer obstacle after obstacle in her life (abuse, college admittance & completion, un(der)employment, homelessness, and job discrimination to name a few) and uses those lessons to assist others in navigating their own barriers. Her personal experiences and victories have been the key to her humility. As a Career Strategist & Coach, Sade has successfully provided hands-on approaches to hundreds of people on how to reach their professional goals and potential. Her path of expertise is unique because her experience spans multiple industries and level roles organically, including Retail, Hospitality, Legal, Non-Profit, Entertainment and more. She contributes much of her success to having a profound desire to see others win and meeting them where they are, without all the fluff or sugar coating. While Sade is known to be reserved and introverted, she has no problem commanding a room when necessary. She is about as dedicated as they come. Her down-to-earth and humble personality coupled with her can-do attitude makes her easily relatable and approachable, gaining the trust & respect of all her clients. Sade is adept with working with diverse populations. Her wide range of skill and resilient character allows her to communicate with people on both ends of the spectrum with grace. Sade acknowledges that great things never come from comfort zones. Therefore, she constantly pushes herself to improve and moves to be the bridge between stagnancy and development for others. Anchored on principles, Sade’s willingness to help people goes beyond the professional setting. Since she was a young girl, Sade has spent countless hours volunteering in the communities she resides. Therefore, becoming a member of Gamma Sigma Sigma National Service Sorority, Inc in college was a no-brainer. Sade has served numerous non-profit organizations over the years and some causes that are near to her include: • Job Readiness & Tutoring • Food / Socioeconomic Poverty • Homelessness • Suicide Prevention • Mental Health Awareness • Cancer Research (Children, Lung & Breast) • Premature Births Due to her extensive variety of interests, Sade is an advocate for self-development and instinctively shares information with those in need. Over the last few years of work, she realized the advantage to having a place to ‘put’ everything she knows for others to refer to. From there, Cherish Queens was intuitively born. Sade and her partner continuously work to build the vision of the CQ brand so that any brown girl after them, without direction or intention, has a roadmap to step forward in confidence. With a name that means "honor confers a crown", it is only fitting for her to find purpose in honoring other Queens to that end. "I started this (CQ) platform because people naturally gravitate to me for information, both by profession and personally. I wanted to take the idea of promoting resources which have helped me and combine it with commemorating the successes of women who look like me. This way someone who may be hopeless can find guidance and see the possibilities that await them." For downtime, one can catch Ms. Sparks occupied with mindfulness/meditation, reading, watching movies, attending concerts, or simply learning something new.
